Emergency Numbers: The Decisive Piece of the Puzzle

Emergency numbers are important in two respects. First, they must be provided in safety data sheets according to the REACH Regulation (1907/2006/EG). Second, legal regulations on transport, particularly by airlines, absolutely demand emergency numbers – usually on a carriage document or label. In addition, many countries, including the United States and Canada, require that the number be staffed around the clock for the transport of dangerous goods.
Most manufactures, dealers, and importers cannot maintain an overview of which regulations apply in specific countries. And many companies demand entries in their own national language.

At KFT, we offer companies an emergency number service through our partners Chemtrec and Giftinformationszentrum Nord (GIZ). We would be pleased to provide you with personal information about the details of the service. Please contact us under 06155 868290 or send us a mail to mail@kft.de.
